Most enterprises in the film industry are in troub

At present, there are serious problems of blind development and disorderly competition in China's film industry, such as mass action, vicious competition, and even "suicidal competition". The vast majority of enterprises in the entire film industry have been in trouble

BOPP industry is seriously overheated

BOPP film is an important product in the packaging field. Its manufacturing process is relatively simple, the price is moderate, it is widely used, and its performance is excellent. Due to the pull of food packaging industry, BOPP film has become a plastic film variety with rapid development. At present, there are more than 300 BOPP film production lines in the world. From the domestic market, with the rapid growth of market demand for BOPP film, the investment fever of BOPP has been stimulated. By the end of 2002, the domestic BOPP film production capacity has reached about 980000 tons, and the market demand is only about 650000 tons. By the end of September last year, there were 156 domestic BOPP film production lines, and the production capacity increased sharply to 2.07 million tons, ranking first in the world. At present, the growth rate of domestic demand is about 12%, and the maximum market demand is 900000 tons. Obviously, due to the theme forum of "2014 (6th) International Conference on new chemical materials" to be held at the same time of BOPP exhibition, the centralized and overheated development of the membrane industry has led to a serious oversupply in the market and the rising prices of raw materials. Since 2003, the average price of raw materials per ton has increased by more than 1600 yuan, which is due to the change torque of the sample, while the price of ordinary films per ton has decreased by 2400 yuan. As a result, all film manufacturers lost about 800000 yuan per month per production line

China's BOPP film production equipment needs to be imported from abroad, but a large amount of foreign exchange in exchange for a large number of idle and ineffective productivity. At the same time, these enterprises are mainly state-owned enterprises, and most of them belong to debt management. Up to now, eight BOPP film enterprises have closed down nationwide, and another eight enterprises have transferred imported equipment at a low price. According to statistics, including the sharp decline in product prices and the depreciation of equipment, 6billion yuan of state-owned assets have been lost due to the sale of products and equipment at a low price

BOPET follows BOPP closely

in biaxial tensile packaging materials, the market share of BOPET film is second only to that of BOPP film. BOPET film has excellent physical and chemical properties, and has a wide range of applications in electronics, electrical appliances, magnetic recording, packaging, decoration, plate making and printing, photosensitive materials and so on. Among them, packaging is the application field with the fastest growing demand for BOPET film. China's BOPET film industry began to develop in the 1980s, and several imported 10000 ton production lines were put into operation in the middle and late 1990s, which led to the rapid expansion of China's BOPET film production capacity. In 2002, the output of BOP epset membrane in China was about 100000 tons, the import volume was about 73000 tons, the export volume was 10000 tons, and the annual demand was about 163000 tons. By the end of 2003, there were about 30 BOPET film production lines in China, with a production capacity of about 160000 tons/year. At present, many enterprises in China are building or expanding BOPET production lines, and a new round of construction boom of BOPET film is rising. By 2005, the capacity of new and expanded projects is expected to reach 250000 tons. If all the expansion projects are planned to be put into operation in 2005, it is expected that the production capacity in 2005 will quadruple that in 2002, which is bound to lead to oversupply

it is estimated that the demand for BOPET film in China will reach 258000 tons in 2006, while the domestic BOPET film production capacity will increase sharply by about 280000 tons in 2005. Since 2005, it is a foregone conclusion that supply exceeds demand on the whole. In addition, from the perspective of the demand structure with Poisson's ratio of 0.331, the proportion of BOPET film varieties required by various electrical and electronic parts industries is difficult to keep pace with the development of market demand. Because most of the existing production lines and the proposed production lines are mainly packaging films, there will be some structural contradictions between the supply and demand of BOPET film in the future

once this unfavorable situation occurs, it will inevitably cause the oscillation of market price and directly lead to the loss of enterprise profits. If we take the current non tax price of ordinary packaging film of 15385 yuan/ton as an example, assuming that the film price is forced to decline by 10% due to the oversupply of the market, based on the current national production capacity of 160000 tons, the whole industry will lose 2.4 billion yuan of profit in a year; If the film price is forced to drop by 15%, the whole industry will lose 370million yuan in profits in one year. The BOPET industry is facing an extremely arduous test

countermeasures: regulation, adjustment and self-discipline

BOPP and BOPET films are only two representatives of the film industry, and the growth rate of production capacity exceeds the growth rate of social actual consumption demand. This phenomenon is common in the film industry, and should attract the high attention of relevant enterprises and management departments

in view of the current situation that the capacity growth rate of the national film industry exceeds the growth rate of social actual consumption demand, countermeasures should be taken quickly to regulate the blind development and disorderly competition of the film industry. First, strengthen macro-control, strictly control the approval of film projects, and implement macro-control from the total amount. Second, speed up structural adjustment. Based on the existing conditions, we should strive to cultivate and strengthen existing enterprises, and avoid blindly starting some small enterprises. We should speed up the adjustment of product structure, pay attention to the development of special functional films, and explore new application fields. Third, strengthen industry self-discipline. We should give full play to the bridge role of industry associations, strengthen the information exchange between film enterprises, and create a fair and open market environment, so that the film industry can develop healthily and stably
