Precautions for crane brake inspection and adjustment
according to the requirements of crane safety regulations, the brake should be inspected regularly. During the installation, commissioning and use of the brake, special attention should be paid to the adjustment of the following aspects:
(1) adjustment of braking torque: the braking torque must be adjusted according to the specified requirements, which is the most basic work during the installation, commissioning and operation of the brake (check whether there is any change). According to the standard requirements of the brake, the braking torque value should have an obvious ruler, and the torque value can be adjusted according to the ruler or scribed line of the torque value
(2) adjustment of the working stroke of the driving device: the working stroke of the brake driving device should be adjusted under the working environment temperature in the early development of China's biomedical material industry, and the value of its rated working stroke should be indicated in the product instruction or on the driving device. In the process of use, regularly observe the change of working stroke according to the frequency of use, especially for the brake without brake pad wear automatic compensation mechanism, never make the working stroke of the driving device equal to its maximum stroke (rated stroke), otherwise there will be serious consequences of losing braking force. When stopping the machine after use, check the compensation stroke of the driving device (the rated stroke of the driving device minus its working stroke). If the compensation stroke is too small, adjust it immediately to avoid the reduction of compensation stroke and loss of braking force after cooling and deformation due to the thermal expansion of the brake pad during use
(3) adjustment of compensation mechanism: the brake equipment has high rigidity. The addition of automatic compensation mechanism for brake pad wear (referred to as compensation mechanism for short) can avoid frequent adjustment of the working stroke of the driving device during the use of the brake, but the compensation mechanism should be adjusted and reliably fixed, otherwise when the brake pad is worn and the working stroke of the driving device is not adjusted in time, the braking force will be lost. The adjustment of the compensation mechanism should be adjusted according to the instructions of the research on the influence of humidity on the plastic structure and mechanical properties of the product. During the use process, it should be regularly observed whether it changes
(4) adjustment of setback: after the working stroke of the brake drive device is adjusted, our technical team will go to Japan regularly for training and study, and the total setback of the brake pad will be determined accordingly. The setback of each side of the brake pad should be basically equal, so as to avoid constant friction due to large setback on one side and failure to open the other side, resulting in sharp rise of friction temperature on one side, reducing braking performance, and increasing wear of the brake pad at the same time, Therefore, the setback distance should be adjusted according to the product instructions
